Nanotechnology Cluster Programme
Finnish nanocluster is a gateway to Finnish nanoexpertise. The mission of the Nanocluster is to foster the growth of nanotechnology based business and to support nano and microtechnologies and future materials in Finnish companies. Nanotechnology Cluster Programme has eight local centres of expertise. Nanocluster reaches 90 % of all Finnish nanotech stakeholders.

Helsinki Region Centre of Expertise
Helsinki Region plays a special role in Finnish nanotechnology, as more than half of all domestic nanotechnology related activities and stakeholders are located in this area. The major academic and research players are Aalto University with nanotechnology related activities in more than 40 research groups, University of Helsinki (UH) with more than 20 active research groups in Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki campus areas, and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Local centre of expertise in Helsinki Region is hosted by Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd .

Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd
Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd is a development company owned by the Uusimaa Regional Council, the cities of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, and the universities, polytechnics, research institutes and business community of Helsinki region. The main function of Culminatum Innovation Oy Ltd is to manage the Centre of Expertise Programme within Helsinki Region over the current third programme period 2007 - 2013.
